Shelburne artist Chris Sharp will sculpt a  life-sized bronze statue of Big Joe in a familiar pose that captures the spirit and charm of this beloved Burlington musician.

This project has truly become a symbol of community, bringing the City of Burlington, the Church Street Marketplace, business owners, and friends and family of Big Joe Burrell all together to ensure that the memory of Big Joe and his contributions to the Burlington area will remain strong and lasting.
